BENEFITS PROVIDED TO FULL-TIME ALBERS AEROSPACE EMPLOYEES:
Medical, Dental and Vision: Albers Aerospace employees be eligible to participate in Albers Aerospace company-sponsored benefit plans. These plans include medical, vision, dental, group life and disability benefits. The company pays majority of the employee cost and a portion of the family premiums. The employee is responsible for the remaining premiums.
Matching 401K: We offer a company 401(k) plan through our payroll provider and Albers Aerospace provides a 100% match up to 4%.
Paid Time Off: Albers Aerospace employees receive 10 days paid time off their first year, 15 days after year one, and 20 days after five years, earned bi-weekly. Additionally, Albers employees receive 11 paid holidays each year.
Term Life and Accidental Death & Dismemberment benefit: Employees receive an EMPLOYER PAID Term Life and Accidental Death & Dismemberment benefit of 1 times your base annual earnings unless otherwise specified in the Collective Bargaining Agreement.
Voluntary Life and/or Voluntary AD&D: Employees are offered an opportunity to purchase additional voluntary Life and/or additional AD&D coverage for yourself, spouse and eligible dependent children. This benefit is employee paid on a post-tax basis.
Long Term Disability + Short Term Disability: The goal of the Disability Insurance is to provide you with income replacement should you become disabled and unable to work due to a non-work-related illness or injury. Albers Aerospace provide all full-time employees with Employer Paid Short- and Long-Term Disability.
New Hire Bonus: Employees are eligible for a $1,500 bonus for each new employee that you assist the company in acquiring and who remain in a revenue or critical hire position for 12 months.
Education & Certification Reimbursement: All full-time, regular employees who have completed three months of employment are eligible for tuition and certification benefits. Employees may pursue a degree or take individual courses at approved and accredited educational institutions under this program, provided the course of study is related to the employee’s current position or a probable future assignment and the Company approves the course(s). This program reimburses up to $1,500 per calendar year per employee for qualified expenses.
The Russell K. Garrett Memorial Scholarship: Albers Aerospace is honored to offer a $5,000 academic scholarship opportunity. Eligibility requirements:
- Are children of full-time Albers Aerospace Employees; (excluding employees at VP or above levels)
- Are high school Seniors with an expected 3.5 GPA minimum upon graduation, or
- Are college Freshmen, Sophomores, or Juniors with a 3.0 GPA minimum.
- Intend to study or are already pursuing a Bachelor Degree in Business or Economics, or a Master of Finance degree; STEM majors are acceptable, but preference will be given to the former areas of study;
- Can be a previous year’s winner; (not to exceed 4 years of awards per student)
Flexible Work/Remote Work: Albers Aerospace provides flexible worksites when able. Includes working from home a few days a week and flexible work hours and staggered shifts where appropriate. We continue to value collaboration and team building while allowing flexibility to teammates.
